Stand out from the crowd (and in the dark) with these pigments

Glow-in-the-Dark Pigments are an exciting addition to bath bombs as they provide a fun and unique experience for your customers.

With the right approach, you can create striking bath bombs that look amazing in the light and even better in the dark. Here’s a guide on why you should use these pigments, what our customers are saying, and how to incorporate them into your designs.

Why Use Glow-in-the-Dark Pigments?

Glow-in-the-Dark Pigments are not just visually captivating, they also add an element of surprise and delight to your products.

These pigments charge in natural or artificial light and emit a soft glow in the dark, making bath time an exciting experience, especially for children.

What Our Customers Have to Say About Them

Our customers love the creativity and vibrancy that Glow-in-the-Dark Pigments bring to their bath bombs. Here’s what some of our Soakies had to say about them:

Sam Robertson

“The glow in the dark can be such a game changer 😍 I actually love how it’s just made these bath bombs stand out! 💚

Claire Titterton

“First go with the glow-in-the-dark paints. Gotta say I love it! So different 😍 Love how Soak keep us on our toes lol 👌”

Jennifer Busby

“I’m in love 😍 like a kid in a toy shop with new toys to play with! I’ve been experimenting for a couple weeks now with it and the rainbow mane of the unicorn is the first to be “glowed up”

How to Use Them in Your Bath Bombs

Start by preparing your citric acid, bicarbonate of soda and your chosen fragrance oils. Once these are well mixed, add the glow-in-the-dark pigment to the mixture. A good rule of thumb is to use approximately 1% of the total weight of your dry ingredients; this ensures a bright glow without affecting the texture of your bath bomb.

Next, combine your wet ingredients and gradually add them to the dry mixture while stirring continuously to avoid fizzing. Once combined, pack your mixture into moulds and allow them to dry for 24-48 hours. When ready, test the glow by charging the bath bombs under light and turning off the lights to see them shine.
