It’s because of Soakies like these that we are able to continue doing what we love: providing thousands of cosmetic creators with the best products and service for their home, bath and body businesses. 

To show our appreciation for these lovely ladies, we’re shining a spotlight on them.

Deborah Jones

What’s the name of your business and how can people shop with you?

My business name is WiseWax. I am currently on a work sabbatical but people can view my work on my Instagram page.

What made you get into cosmetic creating?

I randomly came across a youtube video on someone making cold process soap. It was fascinating to watch. My husband bought me a kit to try and I was instantly hooked. Having grown up doing creative stuff all the time, this was a great way to express that.

What’s your favourite product to make?

I ADORE making Bath bombs. I’d do it for free if I had to! Incidentally, I ignored bathbombs for over a decade because they just didn’t make sense in my head. I decided to give them a go again and finally the science started to click. I’ve been hooked ever since.

What’s your best advice for first-time creators?

My advice to first time creators:- Honour your craft. By that I mean, make it your mission to learn everything about it from start to finish. Being highly competent in work makes it so much easier to do everything else. Dedicate the time to learning and you will absolutely reap the rewards of your hard work.

What made you get into cosmetic creating?

My cosmetic journey started when my daughter wanted to use bath bombs in the bath we got from a very well known shop.

When she went to use it in the bath her skin started stinging and when all red I was horrified.

So I thought I would research and find how to make products for her to use myself & her could make together.

While researching I found Soak Rochford.

How long have you been a Soakie?

Ohhhh I can’t remember when I first joined Soak think it was July 2019 

I now have 11 Soak Rochford Assessments and love them all!

What do you like most about being part of the Soak Rochford community?

I love how friendly everyone is and how there is always someone to help and how positive everyone is. I love been a moderator for the group helping out when and where I can.

Jacqueline Jam Gatford

What’s the name of your business and how can people shop with you?

My name is Jacqueline Gatford and my business is jam’s bath bombs! We have Facebook, Instagram and TikTok we also have a website www.jamsbathbombs.uk

What made you get into cosmetic creating?

We got into making bath bombs as my son and daughter both have sensitive skin and we wanted to create more fun bath bombs for boys mainly but now have something for everyone.

How long have you been a Soakie?

We have been soakies since 2020 and honestly the best decision our business has made was picking Soak Rochford!

What do you like most about being part of the Soak Rochford community?

They have the most amazing products, the most supportive group of people to help get you going as well as being so amazingly quick with their supplies! Honestly the most friendly and supportive people are soakies.
