Giving creators inspiration to get their goals in order
As the chaos of the Christmas period begins to die down, it’s time for us to start looking ahead at what 2023 could have in store for us. One way to harness all of the opportunities that are available to small business owners throughout the year ahead is to set New Year’s resolutions.
Here are a few suggestions for New Year’s resolutions that will help creators grow their businesses, remain focused and continue enjoying the process!

Make your Presence Known on Social Media
Whether you have been putting it off for a few months or you just know that you should take it up a gear, this is something that could reap your business serious rewards.
Build a community of customers and connect with them on a personal level, market your business, showcase your products and highlight promotions to generate brand awareness and increase your sales.
Take a Look at your Prices
As we’re all aware, the second half of 2022 was dominated by price hikes. Unfortunately, this means that barely anyone managed to get out unscathed.
If everything included in your manufacturing process has gone up, it might be about time for you to reflect this in your products. Take some time to look at your costs and make sure that you are still turning a decent profit.
Expand your Product Range
Step outside of your comfort zone and introduce your customers to a new range of products. For example, if you’ve been making melt-and-pour soap bars, why not try soap sponges? And the best part is, they both use the same assessment.
If you want to try a new product that is outside of what your assessment allows, purchase one of our new “make your own” kits to try before you buy!
Make Organisation a Priority
Chaos in your workspace causes so much stress, brain fog and confusion. So this year we say no to disorder!
Get a calendar which clearly shows when you need to purchase more stock. Have a daily “to-do” list so that you don’t forget to send out orders. Buy stacking shelves to store all of your finished products. Decant all of your bulk ingredients into more manageable containers. Those are just a few easy fixes that will make your work life so much easier.
If You’re Not a Soakie Yet, Become One!
Our community is made up of thousands of happy customers who love to share their products, advice and wisdom with one another. We also pride ourselves on offering the best customer service and fastest delivery to keep your creative process as fun and stress-free as possible!
