Because you can never have too much backup entertainment
Here is a list of activities for when those three dreaded words begin to echo throughout the house… “Mum, I’m bored”.
Introduce your little ones to the child-friendly aspects of your favourite hobby. We always love to expand our Soakie community, and getting children involved with a creative process is a fun and bonding experience.

Paint Bath Bombs
If you’ve made a large batch of bath bombs, Let your little one help paint the extra ones. Alternatively, make more with this end goal in mind!
It’s probably quite unlikely that you’ll be able to sell these (unless you have a little Picasso in the house, or if you have your own whoopsie category) but it will be a really fun and creative bonding afternoon as you share your passion.
Consider purchasing some gloves so that you can avoid any stained fingers.
Get Them to Help Package
If you have a build-up of orders, take advantage of the extra pair of hands you have around the house and get help packing. Of course, this could be a fiddly job for younger children, so it depends on how you send out your products.
You could even get your little ones to write a thank you card to go into the order. It would be really sweet to receive and would add a lovely, personal touch to the delivery.
Purchase Moulds from Our Children’s Range
Grab and keep your child’s attention by purchasing a mould they will love from our Children’s range. From dinosaurs to butterflies, game controllers to baby squirrels… With plenty to choose from, you will be sure to find something that is right up their street.
Also, did you know that every month we donate 10% worth of sales from the “Children’s” mould category to the Make-A-Wish Foundation?
Create Some Jelly Soap
The creation process and result of jelly soap is incredibly fun for both adults and children.
Let your imagination run wild and experiment with a range of colours and fragrances. Once set, watch their faces light up and the unique way it wobbles!
Try Their Hands at Piping
The first step in this process is to lower your expectations!
When making whipped soap, see how steady your child is when it comes to handling the piping bag. Although you obviously might not be able to package and sell these, it’s really fun to let them create something they can create from scratch, then store and use in the bathroom.
